Use me a mud mask or before after routine cleaning?

Ok, so I've always been confused when they are used some products of the person before or after routine cleaning (cleaning, toner, moisturizer)? For me, it makes more sense to use a specific product before face cleansing routine. For example, These are some of the products i am confused whether to use before or after routine: mud - Mask - [exfoliating] facial scrub - I have this gel acne treatment soap and I I got from bestbathstore.com So when I use them?
