Acne will pass down to me?

OK, so my dad had it as a disaster and my sis had acne really bad when she was about 12-14 now it still has quite a few spots, and I was thinking about this evening, because I am starting to take a few small red spots on my forehead and chin only had a lil bit smaller before and not only wear mascara foundation or anything and my mother is that she would book me in doctors, but before today it did not clean my face action clean and clear deep and I am starting to drink much more water and hope that I am going to join fitness in the new year do you think this will help them so they dont get any worse? you have any ideas can have?
